“I am having a blast in Crossroads newest class, "Tune Up and Record", taught by the amazing Michael LaMacchia! I have taken other classes at Crossroads, Vocal Classes, Band Classes, but this by far is my favorite. It involves all the processes leading up to recording a song. We worked on key changes, vocal quality, ear training, arrangement of the music and then, my favorite part, actually recording the songs. I loved working on the nuances of recording a song. I could go back and listen to my recording and then pick out a phrase or a word that you wanted to perfect and splice it into the rest of the song. What a unique experience to be able to work that way on your song and get it to the point of your own perfection! Michael also made me feel relaxed and confident in my own abilities. I would recommend this class to anyone who has a dream of singing, whether its for your own personal goal or to fulfill a lifetime journey.”

The Class consists of a series of 8 private one-on-one sessions with professional guitarist and instructor Michael LaMacchia.

This is an advanced class of vocalist instruction, for serious students but all
levels are welcome. Spend your time getting it all together but be ready to improve quickly. There will be some homework. Course will cover: cueing, material, idea development, practice habits that pay off quick, improvisation, recording, book & chart creation, clean up, and other basics needed to be a pro and prepped to hit the stage.

Location & Scheduling: Mill Valley, one-on-one, once a week for 1 hour
Schedule determined by mutual agreement with some flexibility in scheduling
Total of 12 weeks to finish 8 sessions
Costs: $60 per class, due up front, unless otherwise determined
